Some of us who had Cingular phones that were updated to AT&T have a problem getting MMS messages. Attempts to download the messages fail with "please check your profile settings" though all visible profile settings are proper.
This is fixed by doing this:
- Go to any multimedia message, and click Menu.
- Scroll down to Mulimedia Msg. Options.
- Select Multimedia message profiles
- Assuming AT&T IMS is selected, click Menu and select Edit.
- Scroll to the bottom and ensure that AT&T IMS is selected for GPRS.
